Greater Bendigo Gold Mines Limited's (GBM) primary focus is:
- The building of a strong gold production base in central Victoria, Australia.
GBM presently has 3 Areas of Focus, each in the Greater Bendigo region - being Inglewood, Avoca and Bendigo itself.
Within these Areas of Focus are a number of distinct tenements, projects and sub-projects.
The various projects are at a mix of development stages, with some projects at production and others in later or earlier analysis, exploration or development phases.
The 3 Areas of Focus are each within approximately a one hour drive of Bendigo City, on well formed roads.
Current status is summarised below:

At various of its more advanced projects GBM, via subsidiary companies, owns substantial mining and processing plant & equipment, including the new Maxwell processing plant at the Inglewood project and the Fiddlers Creek plant at Advoca.
GBM has a highly focused, Bendigo based management, finance and administration team. They operate from the head office at 129 Queen St, Bendigo - suitable premises, owned by the company.
GBM's geology and planning team are also based from the head office, and are respectively engaged in:
- managing the ongoing exploration and analysis programs being prepared and undertaken for the various projects. including computer modeling, drilling, mapping and sampling programs are ongoing.
- Planning applications and submissions in respect of exploration and development.
GBM’s main operational focus at present is on its flagship Inglewood Project where a growing mining team is deployed developing stoping from and/or access to various mineralized shoots on three levels within the Maxwell's Mine.
Whilst GBM is focused primarily on gold production, it may undertake other activities;
- a secondary activity is intended to be dealing in industrial materials, mainly sands and gravels, which are by-products derived from some of its gold operations and can be profitably sold.
- a further non-core activity of investing in stand-alone operations in or related to the gold sector where value can be delivered to GBM operationally and/or financially.
These two subsidery activities are presently represented by investments in:
- 100% owned Industrial Sands and Gravels Pty Limited, a company aming to develop and market the Sand and Gravel byproducts of the group.
- 50% of NZ company Mineral Recovery Technologies Limited which has some rights in respect of various mineral recovery technologies it aims to develop.
