Ian Smith

Mr Smith is an investment banker with considerable commercial experience. His interests own and operate a successful boutique merchant bank in Wellington and he has over the years built a reputation for bringing new businesses to the market, including restructuring and repositioning of a number of NZ public companies. He currently serves as a director on a large number of companies in New Zealand and Australia operating in a diverse range of sectors.

John Cahill

After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the Bendigo College in 1983, John commenced work with 3D's Goldmines N.L. followed by 4 years with Bendigo Mining N.L. working on alluvial and hard rock projects.
Following this John spent several years as a contract geologist, before moving on to 10 years at Bendigo Mining N.L. working on the New Bendigo Gold Project.
John has been involved in open cut exploration, diamond drilling programs, bulk sampling, historical research, dewatering programs and concept generation and planning.

Peter Marriott
Director, Wellington, New Zealand
Mr Marriott is a barrister and solicitor who after learning his craft in the professional ranks moved to become an investment banker with a focus on the primary resources sector. He brings with him a wealth of experience both from his overseeing of transactions as a commercial lawyer and his hands on involvement in several primary industry sectors including oil exploration, coal, fisheries and forestry.
