Greater Bendigo Gold Mines Limited's (GBM) primary focus is:

  • The building of a strong gold production base in central Victoria, Australia.

GBM presently has 3 Areas of Focus, each in the Greater Bendigo region - being Inglewood, Avoca and Bendigo itself.

Within these Areas of Focus are a number of distinct projects involving one or more tenements, resource blocks and exploration targets.

The various projects are at a mix of development stages, with Inglewood's Maxwell mine in production and others in later or earlier analysis, exploration or development phases.

The 3 Areas of Focus are each within approximately a one hour drive of Bendigo City, on well formed roads with good service infrastructure.

Current status is summarised below:

At production: 1. Inglewood
- Inglewood is GBM's flagship project, and includes the Maxwell's processing plant and mine at production.
- The Inglewood Project includes the Wedderburn, Kingower and Harvest Home JV & Queens Birthday JV resource blocks.
Advanced analysis: 2. Avoca
The Avoca focus consists of Mining and exploration licences over the Fiddlers Creek and Avoca area, along with an existing mine and processing plant at Fiddlers Creek - which are not at production.
- Work authorities and licenses under company ISG covering the Beavis accuvial resource block and others at Maryborough
  3. Bendigo
  - Wilson Hill a growing exploration project aiming at establishing a large minable resource from an continued field exploration target.

Also in Bendigo GBM has an

- option to buy 100% of the Bendigo ensck tailings project

- A 25% JV invested in the Sebastion Project

 

At Inglewood and Fiddlers Creek. GBM, via subsidiary companies, owns substantial mining and processing plant & equipment.

GBM has highly focused, Bendigo based management, and geology teams.

The geology team is responsible for:

  • managing the ongoing exploration and analysis programs being prepared and undertaken for the various projects. including computer modeling, drilling, mapping and sampling programs are ongoing.
  • Planning applications and submissions in respect of exploration and development up to decision to mine stage.

GBM's main operational focus at present is on its producing Inglewood Project where a growing mining team is deployed developing stoping from and/or access to various mineralized shoots within the Maxwell's Mine.

Whilst GBM is focused primarily on gold production, it may undertake other activities;

  • a secondary activity is intended to be dealing in industrial materials, mainly sands and gravels, which are by-products derived from some of its gold operations and can be profitably sold.
  • a further non-core activity of investing in stand-alone operations in or related to the gold sector where value can be delivered to GBM operationally and/or financially.
