Inglewood Project
The Inglewood project encompasses both the Inglewood and Wedderburn goldfields.
Additionally, a small mining Licence on the Kingower goldfield is also included.

The Inglewood goldfield has produced approximately 130,000 ounces down to an average vertical mining depth of ~100 metres with the deepest workings (predominantly shaft development) rarely exceeding 300 metres.
Four main mining areas are recognised at Inglewood as producing ~90% of the recorded production. These are the Maxwells, Columbian, Jersey and the March Unity – Morning Star mines.
Maxwells Mine:
GBM has focused initially on the Maxwells mine on the Inglewood goldfield with a program of refurbishment & assessment from late 2005.
Following the ASX listing, the focus has shifted to developing a new 100 metre level north from the Maxwells shaft to intersect the 1994 exploration rise that had intersected high grade mineralisation in what has been termed the “Max shoot”.
This level has bypassed the adjacent Havilah workings and has allowed access to be gained to the rise with spectacular results.
Strong visible gold and sample grades in excess of 1000g/t have justified the reopening of the mine and development work is now ongoing to allow the commencement of stoping in the New Year.
Bulk sampling from this area has indicated mining grades in excess of 2 ounces per ton (see Gekko report) and a substantial portion of the Max shoot is available for mining
The company has undertaken a refurbishment and upgrade of the existing Maxwells processing facility. This plant will utilise gravity recovery to produce gold and it is expected the plant will be commissioned in the 1st quarter of the New Year.
Research has also indicated the presence of a further mineralised shoot to the north (Max North shoot) and a development drive has been commenced to access this by early 2008.
This will allow the commencement of two stoping areas to be developed with a 3rd area commencing development in late 2008.
Research has also revealed a plethora of exploration targets with a total of 21 targets identified throughout the licence area.
GBM will be progressively developing each target with a view to providing an ongoing feed supply for the processing facility in to the future.
Additionally, GBM has confirmed Strata Minings 2001 drilling results from the Gowks Hill Project at Wedderburn where a potential open pit exists within trucking distance from the Inglewood processing facility
The Inglewood Vision:
Deposits on the Inglewood gold field are structurally controlled by the intersection of oblique faulting which produce steep plunging high grade shoots.
Early mining efforts failed to take advantage of the predictive nature of this control and have not exploited the depths of the Inglewood field.
Technical issues also affected these efforts with the water table, high operating costs and remote locations causing high cut off grades and effectively causing mining to cease at the water level.
GBM intends to steadily explore the sub 50m to 500m block of the Inglewood field by modeling the surface deposits and targeting drilling to intersect interpretated extensions to the high grade shoots and controlling structures.
This will allow GBM to prepare an expanded plan to access deeper deposits with a decline allowing access to numerous lines of reef and potential gold deposits to provide a modest but consistent gold production plan for many years.
